Why is the government paying for MY heating and air conditioning?

Today's Energy Star furnace and air conditioners use 60% less electricity than older models. The government is investing in California's economic stimulus as well as our energy efficiency. Now that's GREEN!

This chart shows money saved when energy star energy efficient air conditioning equipment is installed in your home or office.

The chart above is from the California Energy Commission and shows how new technology has made air conditioning equipment much more energy efficient in recent years. If you choose to replace your old air conditioner with a new Energy Star unit the savings from your energy bill will offset the cost of the new system.
